São Nicolau
The Associação Regional de Futebol de São Nicolau (ARFSN) is the governing association of futebol in São Nicolau. Founded in 1982 it hosts only a top flight division whose winner goes on to compete in the Cabo Verde national championship. Games are played in the Estádio João de Deus and Estádio Orlando Rodrigues.
FC Ultramarina and SC Atlético have won the most regional championships, 18 and 10 respectively. While the island has had multiple runners up in the national championship they have yet to have a team win it all.
In addition to the regional league, there is also a regional cup competition, supercup competition, and an opening tournament.
